Licensed Professional Counselor

Welcome! I am a licensed professional counselor in the state of Ohio. My clinical background includes working with a diverse caseload of clients in a variety of different settings. As an Asian American and international adoptee, I am passionate about serving individuals from marginalized and historically underrepresented populations, especially members of the Global Majority and the LGBTQ+ community.

My counseling framework centers on the core concepts of Feminist Therapy and intersectionality. I take an integrated and person-centered approach that prioritizes the therapeutic relationship and emphasizes client agency and expertise. In sessions, I often draw from multiple modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic, Family Systems, and various expressive and experiential activities.

In a safe and non-judgmental space, we will work alongside one another to identify the internalized impacts of culture, power, privilege, oppression, and societal expectations. Furthermore, we will discuss how our identities and unconscious group downloads collide with values, beliefs, thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. It is my honor to support clients in their unique journey of deep self-exploration and healing.

Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and Supervisor

Practice Co-owner

Hello! I am a licensed professional clinical counselor in the state of Ohio. I have had the privilege to work with clients and their families in a variety of settings. My experience includes work with folks experiencing domestic violence, adolescence, college students, body-positive community, members of the LGBTQ+ community, artists/ designers, and folks experiencing traumatic grief. I work with clients who have experienced various forms of trauma including childhood trauma, medical trauma, relationship trauma, spiritual trauma, complicated grief, trauma from the impact of diet-culture, and those experiencing systemic and cultural forms of trauma.

I believe the role of therapy to be a mutually created space of trust and unconditional positive regard. In this space, the client has the opportunity to explore their experiences and connect with all parts of themselves. I have an integrated approach that at its core is based in Person-Centered Therapy and includes elements of Expressive Arts Therapy, Internal Family Systems Therapy,  EMDR, and DBT. I trust that the client is the expert on themselves. I am deeply grateful to be a witness to my client's process of growth and healing.

It is my honor to create spaces for connection, healing, processing and growth. I believe that a therapeutic relationship between the client and the counselor is the foundation of therapy. It is my aim to engage with my clients in a way that turns them towards themselves to develop a trusting and empowered sense of self.

Licensed Professional Counselor

Practice Co-owner

I practice counseling from a humanistic perspective, valuing people's intrinsic potential to move toward growth and healing. I collaborate with clients, providing the space and opportunity to explore the nature of their relationship with self and their relationship with others. I seek balance in my work. I respect that my work with clients often needs to shift fluidly between different approaches: practical concerns such as skills-building and decision-making, internal explorations of experience, and existential concerns regarding discovering or creating meaning and purpose.
